Dear Isabelle,

Thank you again for the magical time we had at your place, we really liked our upstairs two room suite with the walrus mustached soldiers on the wall and the antiques everywhere. The fig sauced duck dinner was amazing, a sublime combination of tastes so sweet and the duck cooked so well, everyone even my daughter (who lives on steak and fries alone) was in rapture over the meal. Your wine was good too, a chewy, (if I remember correctly) Alcanthe varietal which reminded me of Primitivo, the Italian precursor to Zinfandel. Thanks too for the bottle of it, I am planning to have Liz over in the next month to share it with her.

Me and my friend Anna Northeast stayed with you this week in the Antonine Room from Sunday 24th June until Wednesday 27th June, and I just wanted to say a big thank you for a lovely stay, and to say how nice your accommodation is. I really enjoyed it. I personally wanted to thank you for making us feel very welcome and for making conversation easy as our French is not very good!! I loved the room we stayed in, and all the facilities were excellent, as was your service!
